ITD Partner: Danny and Natalie Gregory
The Gregorys
The Gregorys moved from Zambia to Blantyre, Malawi (East Central Africa) in early 2008.
They are excited about the possibilities in Malawi and look forward to working with the
people there. Their focus will be on orphan care, HIV/AIDS ministries and training pastors.
They have also been given the opportunity of partnering with Pumps of Oklahoma to place
water wells in villages where clean water is not readily available.
The Gregorys' Calling
The Gregory’s first felt a calling in 1998. Discontent and restless with simply living the American
dream, the Gregory’s moved from Missouri to Oklahoma to attend Bible college. After a short term
mission trip to Honduras with Crossings in 1999, the calling was confirmed.
The Gregory’s accepted a short-term assignment with the Church of God and spent 2 ½ years outside
Nairobi, Kenya, at the Kima International School of Theology (KIST) which trained African pastors.
Upon returning to the States following this initial assignment, they settled back in Oklahoma City.
The heart of Africa became deeply imbedded in their soul--they adopted two Kenyan babies who had
both been rescued by an orphanage. Hope and Gabriel have been an amazing part of their journey!
After evaluating their time in Kenya and seeking opportunities to return, they accepted an invitation to
serve with the Church of God in Zambia. While there, they worked under the umbrella of ITD
(International Team Development) and in conjunction with the Church of God that has been
established in Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia.
The Gregorys moved from Zambia to Blantyre, Malawi (East Central Africa) in early 2008.
